This sport has existed since the middle of the 19th century. Football is played at a professional level all over the world. An incalculable number of people watch the game on television or on the internet. It is the highest global television audience in sport. Millions of people regularly go to football stadiums to follow their favorite teams. In fact, everybody knows somebody who plays this sport or has already played football.
