Post #4 : The last game

In my last post, I decided to talk about my autumn season with the school. We have played six matches since the beginning of the season. We have five victories and one draw. This season has a short duration. We have eight matches during six weeks. After this eight matches, we have the qualifying heats. According the match was won by what equip, the matches of the qualifying heats are not beforehand decided. It is necessary to give everything to win. If we win, the medals will be presented by the director of the Laval university. It's a golden opportunity for be known in this association.

Post #3 : The Goalkeeper

I have never tried to be a goalkeeper since I play football but that seems so hard. I think this is the most difficult position for a football player. I have been watching a professional football game lately and even if it's the best goalkeeper in the world he could not stop all the balls. The player had already shot when the goalkeeper finally arrived for stopped the soccer ball. According to my pole, ten people on thirteen have already played soccer and  only 1 person on thirteen have already tried the goalkeeper position. It's proved that the goalkeeper position is less popular than the others because it's more difficult mentally be the last member of a team who stop the ball.

Post #2 : Football players

During an English course, we had to do a poll and asked questions about our blog subject. I asked this question : Have you already watched a football game the television? Twelve people out of thirteen said yes.

So I decided to talk about the most popular football players because if you have already watched a football game you have already seen those players. Those football players are seen as gods in certain countries. Every football player has his own idol. Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo are seen by La liga as the two best football players in the world. This sport has several nicknames such as football, soccer, footie and futbol. It’s the world’s most popular sport. This game was played by over 250 million players in over 200 countries. This sport has existed since the middle of the 19th century. Football is played at a professional level all over the world. An incalculable number of people watch the game on television or on the internet. It is the highest global television audience in sport. Millions of people regularly go to football stadiums to follow their favorite teams. In fact, everybody knows somebody who plays this sport or has already played football.

Introduction

For this blog project, I am going to talk about my favourite sport ; football. I plan to speak to you about a new facet of this sport every week. I am going to begin by speaking about football generally so you will know the rules and its history better. This sport is very important for me because I have played since I was seven years old. The football helps me to purge my feelings when I need it. I play with three different teams during the year. My football team during summer is called Les Charlevoisiennes. I play with the cegep during the autumn and with Baie-Saint-Paul during the winter. I hope you will appreciate my blog as much as I like football.
